Job Title: Air Import Coordinator

Department: Air Import
Job Summary

Responsible for handling end-to-end air import operations, ensuring timely customs clearance, accurate documentation, and smooth coordination with airlines, agents, customs, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complete air import shipments from pre-alert to final delivery
• Receive and check pre-alert documents (AWB, invoice, packing list, COO, etc.)
• Coordinate with overseas agents, airlines, and co-loaders
• File and follow up on airline DO (Delivery Order)
• Prepare and submit customs clearance documentation
• Coordinate with customs brokers and ensure compliance with regulations
• Track shipments and provide status updates to customers
• Arrange delivery with transporters and monitor POD
• Handle customer queries and resolve shipment issues
• Prepare billing instructions and coordinate with the accounts team
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
• Ensure adherence to company SOPs and trade compliance rules

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred) preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in air import operations (experience level adjustable)
• Good knowledge of air freight procedures and Incoterms
• Familiarity with customs clearance processes
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office and freight forwarding systems
