Construction Project Superintendent

 
Our company is seeking a talented Project Superintendent to manage industrial construction project jobsites. The Project Superintendent will be responsible for communicating and coordinating with subcontractors, collecting/reviewing all submittals, managing schedules, ensuring job completion to company standards per plans and schedule. The candidate will manage and have intimate project knowledge and have a thorough understanding of the project superintendent processes (RFI’s, scheduling, etc.), meeting contractual obligations. The candidate must have excellent communication (verbal and written), negotiation, organizational, time management, problem-solving and computer skills as well as technical knowledge of construction and the ability to read architectural plans. The ideal candidate should be a pro-active, self-motivated quick learner that is able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications

4-year college degree (preferably with a major in a Construction related field) or 2-5 years applicable field experience.
Relevant work experience in the construction industry is required.
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Must work well independently or in a team environment.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), time management, organizational and problem-solving skills required.
Must be able to communicate effectively with team members, clients and outside vendors/subcontractors.
Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions within established guidelines and policies.
Ability to maintain construction schedule and manage subcontractors and materials for each project.

Requirements

Candidate must be 18 years or older.
Candidate must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process.
Candidate must be willing to submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process.
Candidate must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
Candidate must be willing to travel, as many project locations are outside of Atlanta.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday

The Project Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for assisting Superintendent. The project coordinator will manage project files & coordinate suppliers, vendors, crews, equipment & other assets, administratively supporting the execution of our projects.
