Job description

Kids Alternative Learning & Intervention Services (Kids ALIS) is a growing agency providing learning opportunities based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and is seeking entry-level or experienced Behavior Technicians to help meet the needs of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We provide opportunities for our behavior technicians to learn and experience how to deliver instructions based on the principle of behavior. And, the technicians will have an opportunity to be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). To achieve it, our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will closely work with behavior technicians and provide quality supervision on a regular basis. Supervision and practicum hours are available for those seeking to obtain BCBA.

Minimum Qualifications:

Possess a minimum of an Associate Degree in early childhood, psychology, special education, or related field.
Experience in working with children with and without Autism Spectrum Disorder or related disabilities.

Job Duties:

Providing 1:1 ABA services to clients at their home or communities.
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Cooperating with Behavior Analysts to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
Collecting data on target behaviors using an application (Catalyst).
Completing a session note on a daily basis.
Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients.
Salary/Hourly Rate: Commensurate with experience.

Location: Client's Residence / Community

Language: English and Korean (Preferred, but not required)

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Work hours: 03:00 pm ~ 08:00 pm Mon-Fri / 2pm - 8pm Sat-Sun

자격조건:

- Associate Degree 이상, 교육과 관련된 전공자 (preferred, but not required)
- 자폐 혹은 다른 장애를 가진 아이들과의 교육관련 경험자 우대
- 영어 가능하신 분 (이중언어-영어 및 한국어 preferred, but not required)

Job Duties:

- Client 가정이나 커뮤니티에서 1:1로 ABA 서비스 제공
- Behavior Analysts 와 함께 개별화된 treatment plans 계획 및 시행
- 애플리케이션(Behaviorsoft)을 통해 대상 행동에 대한 데이터 수집
- 매 세션이 끝난후 세션 노트 작성
