⭕ Senior Electrical Engineer ⭕ Director Level ⭕ Master Electrician License

Seeking a senior level Electrical Engineer with significant experience in the design of Electrical systems for new buildings and renovations for factories, Warehouses, and Industrial and commercial buildings.  Candidates must have project management experience and be willing to lead projects from all perspectives including technically, administratively and financially.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will perform electrical designs and lead electrical design project teams to create quality designs for new projects and alterations on a variety of manufacturing projects including factories and warehousing facilities. The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the project team throughout the design and construction process, adapting electrical plans according to budget constraints, design factors or client needs.

Lead electrical design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion for project needs and requirements.

* Prepare complete construction documents including specifications.

* Participate in development of project schedule, scope, and budget staffing planning.

* Apply expert knowledge of commonly used electrical concepts, practices, codes and procedures within the electrical engineering services industry.

* Apply knowledge and experience to complex projects.

* Quality review production drawings for a variety of projects and project related data to verify designs meet applicable codes, design guides and clients needs.

* Lead electrical construction administration efforts including coordination with field personnel to resolve design related installation issues, calculations, field inspections and testing of electrical systems.

* Lead field survey of existing conditions for renovation projects.

* Build effective relationships with existing clients, customers and contractors and develop new business opportunities. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction goals and expectations are met.

* Participate in sales and marketing efforts and identify key pursuits.

* Lead the development of cost proposals and qualification statements for potential new projects.

* Prepare and present project budgets and cost estimates.

* Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to the electrical engineering practice. Mentor and guide less experienced engineers.

* Responsible for QA/QC process adherence.

* Responsible for effective communication with other engineering disciplines.

* All other duties as assigned.

[Qualifications]

* Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program.

* 10-15 years electrical engineering experience in a consulting firm / construction company

* Professional Engineering License(PE) required.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to generate project specifications using master specifications from various clients.

* Ability to travel.
