Position Summary
We are seeking a bilingual (English/Korean) Finance Associate to support insurance portfolio management and credit risk analysis across North America and Latin America.
This role involves managing various insurance policies, assisting with claims, and collaborating with internal teams and insurers to resolve complex risk issues. The analyst will also conduct financial and credit evaluations, review industry risks, and prepare macroeconomic reports.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, solid finance/accounting knowledge, and advanced Excel proficiency. Candidates with 0–3 years of experience in credit analysis or risk management are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Insurance Portfolio Management
- Manage insurance portfolios, including Trade Credit Insurance, Marine Cargo, Property & Casualty, etc.
- Review insurance policy documents and recommend risk management solutions in collaboration with legal and business teams
- Support and manage insurance claims processes and coordinate with insurance providers to achieve claim settlements
Credit Analysis
- Research and report on macroeconomic conditions in major countries across North America and Latin America
- Perform due diligence on potential and existing customers by analyzing credit data, financial statements, and payment performance
- Develop and maintain performance models for debtor accounts
- Evaluate industries and business models to identify potential risks
Qualifications
- 0–3 years of experience in financial credit analysis or risk management (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, functions, data analysis)
- Self-motivated with strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong business acumen
- Bilingual requirement: English and Korean (required)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $60,000
