Position : FACILITIES TECHNICIAN
Location: Albany, NY (Onsite)
Full-time Permanent
WHAT YOU BRING
High school diploma or GED; technical/trade school certificate is a plus
3+ years of hands-on facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, hospital, or commercial building setting
Practical mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC troubleshooting skills - able to use a multimeter, read a pressure gauge, change a belt, swap a sensor, and chase a leak
Comfortable reading equipment manuals, P&IDs, and basic floor plans
Strong safety mindset – LOTO, working at heights, PPE, and confined-space awareness
Able to gown into ISO-classified cleanrooms and follow strict hygiene and behavior requirements
Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, climbing ladders, working on a lift, and standing/walking for most of the shift
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with a work order list
Good written documentation skills - able to record what was done, what parts were used, and why
