- $18/Hour to $40,000/Year


Job Description:


SUMMARY

Maintains accounting records by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Maintain accounts payable system, including; process bills, prepare checks for signatures, mail payments on a timely basis, and record payments in the accounting system
Assist CFO and Accountants with all aspects of maintaining accurate bookkeeping/accounting records for the agency.
Answers all vendor inquiries
Prepares accounts payable checks
Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files
Assists in monthly closings
Assist Accountants in the preparation of audit work papers.
Manage agency petty cash, and accurately record receipts and expenditures handled through petty cash.
Process receipts including payments against accounts receivable, donations and miscellaneous receipts, prepare deposits and deliver deposits to bank on timely basis
Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.
Process various cash received
Prepares vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records and reviews for accuracy.

TS16949 RESPONSIBILITIES The TS16949 responsibilities listed below are required for this position. Other responsibilities may be added, with or without notice in writing, at any time.

Adhere to all TS16943 procedures as related to the finance department function

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Associates degree or equivalent; Level I 0 to 2 years, Level II 3 to 4 years, Sr. Level 5+ years of automotive experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

This employee regularly works in an office environment. Occasionally the employee works in the manufacturing area around moving mechanical equipment and is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
