Summary
Under general Supervision and following departmental policies and procedures, the Staff Accountant performs financial activities related to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Management, Payroll process, Filing back-up documents, and more as requested from supervisors.

Responsibility
-Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
-Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assist with monthly close processes. Overtime required if necessary to finalize the closing.
-Respond to information requests, review financial statements, and assist with audits.
-Develop and maintain routing and ad hoc reports to management that provide visibility to financial results and trends.
-Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors and customers.
-Investigate and resolve any irregularities or inquiries.
-Coordinate with other accountants and management, help with monthly general ledger journal entries and accounts payable/receivable reports as well as daily reports about any account errors.
-Conduct payroll processing in a timely and accurate manner, including gathering employee time information for a selected period, managing benefits & deductions, and distributing employee pay for that period
-Maintain the company’s authorization matric and review the approval lines as needed and according to the polices

Staff Accountant Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
-Entry-level position, 0~2 years of experience preferred
-Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
-Good problem-solving, attention to detail, and time management skills.
-Willing to work overtime when needed (Month-End Closing Process)

Technical Competencies:
-Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel.
-Perform general duties such as filing and handling routine correspondence including job-related emails.
