<p/>First you need to find out which party was actually responsible for reporting it to the credit bureau.Was it the apartment? or the Collection Agency? Once the apt hand it over to the collection agency,you have nothing to do with the apt people.And if that was the case you shouldn't have paid that $210 to apartment.In any case,once you find out which one you should contact them and HAVE THEM call the credit bureau to remove it since you paid it already.It would be lot quicker.<br /></p><p/>Going thru the credit bureau is complicated and time consuming.It would be lot easier to have the party responsible to remove it from your credit report.<br /></p>
